AFRICA - While much of Africa is primarily associated with game and safari expeditions, it would never be a bad idea to try boarding a ship to explore the natural wonders of Africa. The Dark Continent is surrounded by the Indian and Atlantic Oceans and is separated from Europe in the north by the Mediterranean Sea. Though a ring of prime ports, cruisers may discover this spectacular continent. Gold Coast on the Atlantic Ocean offers a rare natural delight, and you may visit the tropical Cape Verde islands that promise a range of wildlife and natural spectacles. Southwest Africa is primarily on the plateaus and plains of Namibia and in the south, there are the modern cities of Durban and Cape Town. If you get time, you may spend a day or two to scan the game reserves and get up close with leopards, lions, elephants, zebras, and rhinos.
